My favorite time of year is now the liminal one; neither Fall nor Winter but the space in between.

What a surprise!

I used to pine for an endless summer. Socal sunlight kept me faithful for 20 years.

I’ve now fallen deeply in love with the darkness as November becomes December.

It is nearly impossible to be over achieving in this season–the few hours of daylight are accompanied by the most gothic and gloomy skies.

It’s an elegant invitation to turn inward, to ground and to slow down time.

I created this video – an 18 minute, all levels, floor based Restorative class – for precisely this purpose.

Put on your cozy clothes, grab all your props, and deeply recharge your kidney and adrenal system with me.

AUTUMN ADRENAL RESTORE

For this practice you’ll need:

EQUIPMENT

  • 2 blocks

  • 2 pillows

  • 1 bolster

  • 1 rolled hand towel

  • *optional 1-2 blankets to pad your mat

I encourage you to remain in each pose longer than in the video.

You can even add a SAVASANA at the end.
