Back to School Yoga
Now that your kiddos have returned to school, you may be thinking about new goals for yourself and your health this Fall. Don’t wait for the New Year; the time to start is NOW!
If you are too busy to attend a group yoga class regularly, or are a yoga beginner, or just like learning new things in the privacy of your own home, consider hiring a private yoga instructor.
A private yoga instructor should bring everything you need to your home, and develop a yoga program for you that evolves over time to achieve your specific goals. I always suggest interviewing a couple of people to see who you like. This is a person who will be visiting you in your home and you want to feel safe with them. Look for an instructor with at least 5 years of teaching experience, ideally used to working with a diverse group of bodies/ages/injuries.
I can typically teach a client the basics of yoga in about 20 private sessions, after which they have a solid foundation to attend group classes confidently and safely. Sometimes clients come to me with the intention of attending group classes, but just find the convenience of yoga in their home more accommodating.
I teach private yoga in single sessions, couples sessions and even multi-generational families.
Feel free to call me directly; if I can’t help you I can usually refer you to someone who can.
In peace and good health,
Catherine
