Chlorophyll Water
I believe that no amount of supplements can replace a balanced diet full of colorful vegetables.
That said, I was first introduced to chlorophyll supplementation ten years ago while running marathons.
Since then, I’ve experimented with it to increase stamina, build vitality and as a general detoxification agent.
What is chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll is the green pigment in plants that absorbs light in photosynthesis, and converts it into energy.
Chlorophyllin is the active ingredient in chlorophyll and is the water soluble ingredient in chlorophyll tinctures.
Benefits of chlorophyll supplementation include:
- Builds red blood cell reproduction and oxygenation
- Assists liver detoxification
- May reduce hunger cravings through blood sugar regulation
- Internal body deodorant
- May assist alkalinization of the body
- May assist wound healing and reduce photo aging of the skin
There are many ways to incorporate chlorophyll into your diet.
Drinking chlorophylll water is probably the easiest.
If you prefer delivery service, I really like this company, Chlorophyll Water.
The bottles are recyclable and BPA free and you can order by the case.
The water is refreshing, faintly minty and lemony at the same time.
Use code 10PERCENT to get a discount on your first order.
You can also make your own chlorophyll water.
I like this Chloroxygen tincture. Whole Foods has a store brand chlorophyll tincture that is as good. Both are alcohol free and have a faint mint flavor.
Warning, if you use the tinctures, it may make your poop green so don’t freak out!
Experiment, see how you feel!
