About 6 years ago, I saw a man shape shift into a Nosferatu type character while intimate with him. Not Hollywood Dracula, but an olde world folkloric vampire. I believed my eyes and it really freaked me out.
My research into what I’d seen led me to Reiki Master Healer & Teacher, Star Solaris. Her work introduced me to the unseen world and how vital it is to protect our energy bodies. In my 1:1 sessions I found her to be very seasoned, sincere and honest, as well as a superb and empowering educator. Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I was born in Bend Oregon and my parents moved us to Truth or Consequences, NM when I was in my early teens so I lived my formative years in NM.
They divorced when I was 16, I went with my Mom and she moved us somewhere new every few months. I spent most of my childhood living in various states throughout the West Coast and the SW.
I know you’ve been working as a psychic since age 16. How did you get interested in this, or how did this life path find you?
I began offering psychic readings using the tarot at 16 when a close friend gifted me a tarot deck. I had always been fascinated by esoteric study and divination. Since I was 16 my main motivation in learning how to read the Tarot was my desire to use them to help me find my soulmate lol.
How did your angels and guides reveal themselves to you, and how did you know to trust them?
As a child I always had a very clear ‘inner voice’ that would guide me and provide accurate information. When I would ask this voice who it was, it would always say it was ME. I didn’t believe it as a child, but I now know in retrospect that it was my higher self.
I was a strange child so spent a lot of time alone in nature and with my own thoughts. My first ‘spirit friends’ were the nature spirits.
I didn’t know about ‘spirit guides’ until I read a book on them in my teens. As I’ve kept journals all my life, I began to write in my journals as if I were speaking to my spirit guides. I would ask them to teach me, to help me, and I would thank them in every entry.
I longed for a mentor, but was never able to find one. I turned instead to my Guides and they would bring me books and synchronicities to help me along the way. Many times I asked for their names and never got an answer.
It wasn’t until after I received my Reiki Master training that my Guides began to communicate more directly with me. I always knew I could trust them from the frequency they presented with. It was a recognizable signature I had known my entire life. It’s a feeling of safety and comfort. They have never led me astray. They always give guidance that is in integrity, and they always held me accountable in gentle ways. Even if I resisted in my stubborn ego driven youth lol.
The Angels presented to me when I first launched my healing practice. I had in my journals and prayers offered to work for them. I asked them to help me be the best healer I could be and thanked them in every journal entry.

Every time I would give a healing session, I set intention inviting the Angels & Guides of the Highest Frequencies of Love and Healing. I wasn’t asking for my own, I was asking for my clients’ Angels.
At my first location, there was a Reiki Master who was threatened of me (she wanted to be the only Reiki Master at that location) so she was always directing negative energy towards me when I was in session. I felt protective of my clients as I didn’t want them to be adversely affected by her energy while they were there getting a healing from me.
I prayed to Archangel Michael every day and did a visualization to surround myself in a beam of his light. It worked! In fact, I noticed that every day the beam of light widened until it was so large around me. One day I went to do the meditation and nothing happened. The beam of light wasn’t appearing around me like it always did.
Instead, Archangel Michael himself appeared to me. He said nothing, he just handed me a sword. I didn’t understand what to make of it, and my conscious mind was doubting it and dismissing it. An apprentice of mine at the time told me it was not uncommon to receive attunements from the Angels and to take it seriously and explore working with it.
I took his guidance and after working with it, I realized that the sword clears invasive energies and can also be given to my clients to use themselves for their energy during healing sessions.
Another one of my Guides, his name is Chiron but he insists that his name should be spelled with a K. Interesting that I have Chiron for a Guide because his calling card for me is a Key… which is the symbol used for him astrologically. I was born the same year that Chiron was discovered. 1977 and he has significant placement in my astrology chart.
I didn’t know much about Angels but I was doing a deep meditation shortly after my mother passed away and I had a vision of an Angel appearing to me and asking me to show him my hands. He took them and placed green glowing light into my hand chakras. It was Archangel Raphael.
Ever since I was 15 years old I’ve kept a little statue of Mother Mary on my altar. She is my most sacred possession. I’ve noticed that many of the clients who come to me love Mother Mary. She brings me her people. I’m not religious, never have been, but I have so much love for Mother Mary.

I trust my Guides because they aren’t invasive, they always encourage integrity, and they hold me accountable. They do not indulge ego. And they are always there when I request of them. Even if it isn’t always what my ego self wants, it’s what I need for my development.
In the early days, how were your gifts received by those around you?
In the 6th grade I had a friend who invited me over for a sleepover for her birthday. Her mother pulled out the sleeper sofa in the living room and we fell asleep watching movies and eating popcorn. I was awakened in the middle of the night to her shaking and convulsing and making strange sounds. I recall a split in my awareness – a part of my consciousness KNEW what was occurring and I have memory of moving my fingers along her spine and adjusting and repairing energy currents that had been split and damaged. When her mother came in I looked at her and a voice that was not mine spoke through me. It said “It’s okay, I’m handling it” and the voice spoke with such authority!!! It shocked and scared her Mom and it scared my Lea consciousness into more of an awake and aware state. My friends seizure had stopped and she fell back into her peaceful slumber. But her Mom looked at me terrified and I was terrified!!!
I vowed to myself to never think of it or speak of it and to put it as far from my mind as I could. I didn’t understand what happened and even though a big part of me wanted to … an even bigger part of me just wanted to forget it and be a ‘normal’ person like everyone else.
Over the years my Mom would always say I was a healer and she would bring me people and tell me to help them. I would tell her “I’m just a psychic Mom, I’m not a healer.” I think my friends Mom must have told my Mom what had happened though my Mom never drilled me about it.
I held healers in very high regard and reverence. I had read many books on Shamanism and Carlos Casteneda and the healing arts. Barbara Brennan “Hands of Lights” was like a bible to me haha. I loved Ram Dass, Richard Bach, Ruth Montgomery. I spent all my early life in seeking and in study. I always dreamed of being a healer but never believed I could be one. I had a severe inferiority complex for the majority of my early life.
That said, my Mom always knew of my abilities but she seemed more interested in exploiting them then she was in helping me to understand them. That was a wound for me.
I solved a sophisticated math problem in the 3rd grade that my teachers made a big deal about and had my IQ tested, they called me a borderline genius and put me into a special school. I didn’t solve that math problem on intellectual merit, I had psychically scanned the teachers’ minds to learn how to take the steps to arrive at the answer. I didn’t fit in or like that school and only lasted there for a year before I begged to be allowed to return to the normal kids school.
You’ve written so many fantastic e-books and blog posts. Even though some of the older blog content was lost, I remember reading them all. How do these topics come to you?
I miss my old blog posts, maybe I can find a way to retrieve them from WordPress. The topics were always centered around what I was personally experiencing and observing with my relationships and clients.

Compared to when you first began your private practice to today, have the issues people deal with changed?
Compared to when I first began my private practice – I’m not sure if I can fairly say as my abilities have elevated to be able to assist clients with more advanced energetic blockage or interferences.
When I first launched my practice, my Guides brought me the clients I was of the skill set to be able to heal and help.
My skill set has grown significantly over the past decade plus. So now my Guides bring me clients that are in need of energetic healing and repair that I have the capability to help them with.
In other words, in the beginning my Guides brought me simpler cases…now they bring me cases that are much more complex.
I imagine that people all still struggle with the same though. Invasive energies that cause negative thinking, emotion, and anxiety. Stuck emotional energy in the chakras. Energetic overwhelm by absorbing other people’s emotions, etc.
Do you think that men and women are equally vulnerable to entity attachment?
Ooooo, this is such an excellent question! I think that the type of entity attachment may differ.
Men are a bit easier to manipulate through ego and desire so they are more vulnerable to entity influence in that regard.
Women are manipulated most through their desire to care give in relationships. This is where they are vulnerable to entities.
If there was just one tool you think everyone should understand and practice for energetic hygiene, what would it be?
Aura repair!!!!!! Aside from Grounding, I recommend Aura repair.
If the aura is damaged, that can cause a lot of problems for the person. The aura is made up of delicate luminous fibers that damage easily. When damaged, personal energy can leak out and outside energy can seep in. It also signals that they are an easy target for entities. Aura repair is easy to do, you just need to take the time to do it when needed.
You mention sovereignty a lot. What does that concept mean to you personally?
The concept of Sovereignty to me, means to take full ownership of your spiritual body and power. To claim your spiritual right to your physical body, emotions, mental state, and of course multi-dimensional body. After having done over 3,000 sessions over the course of 15 years the pattern is consistent: The number one thing damaging our energetics is disempowerment. The moment you claim your own power over your energy, is the moment where you can shift your reality positively.
Tell me about the Sovereignty Circle and what goes on in there.
My Sovereign Sisters Healing Circle was launched in 2022 and we meet weekly on Saturday. Currently the class is full but I will possibly be opening up another one soon.
I guide my members through their energetic upkeep: Grounding, Clearing out other people’s emotional and mental energies, Clearing Cords, Calling Home Personal Energy and Power, and Aura Repair.
We also do what we call “The Power of 8″ where we together hold intention for each member to be ‘Happy, Healthy, Wealthy, and Loved and Divinely Directed and Protected”
Then I introduce the healing theme as offered by the Angels & Guides and we do themed healing around the topics that are relevant. Often the healing themes are what the energetic weather is most supportive of taking astrological transits into consideration.
For example, a mercury retrograde is an excellent time to retrieve lost power or eclipse season is an excellent time to clear invasive energies etc.
Challenges you’ve faced being a psychic and healer?
Whew! I’ve faced many. I’ll name a few.
As a psychic the challenge I faced was that many people were more interested in outcome prediction then they were in receiving the messages from their Guides that were focused more towards their personal healing and development. The other challenge I faced was feeling limited in my capacity to help my clients. I recognized that holding space and providing insight and guidance in itself was healing but I longed to be able to offer more.
When I became a healer, it was a dream come true in that regard.
The challenge I faced as a healer was the awareness of readiness when it comes to healing. As a healer you want more then anything to heal not just your clients, but your loved ones! The problem is, if they aren’t in readiness… all you can do is plant seeds and shed some light until they are.
A challenge I faced personally was something I needed to work through from my inner wound of showing up as a ‘co-dependent healer’ meaning I wanted to fix everything for everyone! Even though I knew it was ultimately their Sovereign responsibility to be proactive with their personal development, I still wanted to ‘do it all for them’.
I also began to notice that many of my clients who had some of the worst damage to their energetics had been from other healers they had been to. There are many healers who are well meaning so it’s not like they were trying to harm their clients…they were just not fully developed yet in their understanding of how energy healing works.
This made me feel really protective of people and their energy.
It inspired me to want to teach people how to scan, clear, and repair their own energetics… and so, my vision as a healer evolved into wanting to teach others how to heal themselves. This was when I launched my Sovereign Sisters Healing Circle.
What inspires you in your daily life?
I’m inspired by mornings, birds singing, flowers, and my dreams of what I still have yet to create.
I’m inspired by cuisine, new recipes with healthy plant based ingredients. I love to bake. I’m an ingredient only household so I spend a LOT of time in my kitchen watching cooking channels on YouTube.
I’m also inspired by shows or architecture from the Regency, Victorian, Edwardian, and early 20th century eras. I’m drawn to the elegance, architecture, speech, customs and slower pace of life portrayed.
What do think you’d be doing if you weren’t doing this work?
Writing. I would be writing. Maybe in real estate because I love real estate.
What is your vision for Star Solaris?
My Vision for Star Solaris is:
To introduce a framework for people to clear, repair, and activate their energetic system so they can live from their full power and potential in alignment with their greatest and highest good.
To inspire and encourage people to claim & maintain their Sovereignty.
To educate my fellow healers of the world (self and pro) on strategies, techniques, and principles that will support their own mastery.
To share what I’ve learned from over a decade of healing with the Angels & Guides as well as how to heal with the Angels & Guides themselves.
