How To Raise Your Vibration

How To Raise Your Vibration

It’s flu and cold season. And for some, it’s the beginning of an endless cycle of feeling unwell. You get sick, you partially recover, only to get sick again.

If you’re one of the chronically ill during the winter months, don’t despair.

I know it can be very demoralizing.

It’s easy to fall into self-blame when we feel betrayed by our bodies. We might even start to question the very ability of our bodies to heal.

If this sounds like you, try – just for one week  – noticing your thoughts. Not judging them; just observing.

Thoughts are the last frontier in modern medicine when they should be one of the first things we consider. Why?

Because thoughts become things.

I’ve written about the mind body connection before and real wellness must take into account the power of the mind to heal the body. I’ve seen people with perfect blood work, diet and exercise regimens whose toxic thoughts have made them unwell.

Let me take you for a brief ride into the world of quantum physics and wellness. Bear in mind I am not a physicist (obviously).

A healthy body has been reported to have a resonant frequency rate between 62 and 72 Hz.

If the frequency drops to 58 Hz, cold and flu symptoms appear; at 55 Hz, diseases like candida take hold; at 52 Hz, Epstein-Barr and at 42 Hz, cancer.

If you’re already eating healthfully, sleeping well, moving your body, try incorporating a few of these frequency raising techniques.

  1. Breath of Fire – how to video here

  2. Visualization

  3. Positive Thinking: “I am healing right now.”

  4. Gratitude Journal

  5. Affirmations of optimal health: “I am robust. I am vital. I am strong.”

  6. Dancing to your favorite songs

  7. Essential Oils

I’ve found these techniques to be particularly helpful in recovering from illness or repeated trauma.

For more information about how our thoughts affect our health:

  1. The Body Electric by Robert Becker

  2. HEAL – documentary on the mind-body connection

  3. Work of Larry Dossey  – healing power of prayer

  4. Work of Mararu Emoto – our thoughts affect the molecular structure of water

Eat healthfully, sleep well, move your body and think good thoughts.

xoxo
