Instant Calm
This is one of my favorite techniques for instantly calming the nervous system.
It’s an easy-to learn-breath that along with the Mindset Refresh breath, is a great tool to have at your disposal.
I use this Instant Calm breathing technique to get grounded before important meetings, wind down at the end of the day or just calm down in general.
It really helps you get out of your head and into your body – immediately.
Some of the many benefits of this breath are:
Reduction in stress and anxiety
Sharpens focus, mental clarity and concentration
Calms and rejuvenates the nervous system
Infuses the body with oxygen
May help to balance hormones, as well as masculine and feminine energies
I highly recommend trying this out. If you have congestion or allergies, make sure to blow your nose prior to doing this video.
Also, try to keep your hand, fingers, shoulders and face all very relaxed while practicing.
