Kneeling Pyramid

Kneeling Pyramid Pose

Kneeling Pyramid pose (also called Half Pyramid) is one of my favorite hamstring releases.

It’s an easier version of Standing Pyramid Pose, and can be made even more accessible with blocks.

DIRECTIONS

Starting in Table Pose, step your right foot up between your hands, or blocks.

Pad the left knee or fold your mat to cushion the knee if needed.

Lengthen the spine and fold over the right leg.

Hold for 3-4 breaths.

For a deeper sensation, round the spine forward bringing the head towards the knee.

Remove blocks or lower them.
