Koshi Chimes

Koshi Chimes

If faeries did ASMR, it would sound like Koshi Chimes.

At least to me.

I first experienced Koshi Chimes at a sound bath. The sound bath leader waived them across my face in Savasana and I was smitten.

Made in France of bamboo veneer, metal tines and a crystal pendulum, Koshi chimes are a perfect addition to a peaceful and harmonious home. (Due to their delicate nature, use them indoors only).

You do not need to be a musician to play koshi chimes; a simple sway of the wrist produces a delicate and ethereal sound.

TYPES OF KOSHI CHIME

Koshi chime come in 4 tones:

  • Terra (earth)  ♪♫ G C E F G C E G

  • Aqua (water)  ♪♫ A D F G A D F A

  • Aria (air)  ♪♫ A C E A B C E B

  • Ignis (fire)  ♪♫ G B D G B D G A

Private-Yoga-Instructor-Santa-Monica-Los-Angeles-Koshi-ChimesAfter listening to a lot of YouTube videos, it was a toss up between Water and Air for me.

Ultimately I found the Air tones more ethereal and beautiful.

USES FOR KOSHI CHIME

  • Help children, puppies or yourself wind down / go to sleep

  • Connect to present moment awareness; I put mine on my desk for instant stress relief

  • Use in the family before family prayer or meditation

P.S. I play my Aria / Air Koshi Chime on IG
