New Beginnings
New Beginnings
Hi Everybody!
I’ve been gone for many months due to a long battle, that is nearing over, with sciatica.
For anyone who has ever suffered from this, it is probably the most intense pain you’ll ever experience – nerve pain – and my heart goes out to you if are currently in the throes of it.
My recovery has been a long and humbling spiritual process and I’m grateful for all the renewed appreciation I have for my LIFE.
One of the great upsides to physical pain is that you get really clear about what your priorities are. Ambition, career and ego-driven pursuits which previously drove me have taken a back seat to health and relationships. It’s refreshing to know what’s really important to me RIGHT NOW.
After what feels like a lifetime of defining myself by what I achieved, how much I earned, and where I was working, I can say today that I really ‘get’ that I am much bigger than the sum of all my accomplishments.
So are you.
My recovery was made possible through the kindness and care of so many people; some I’d known for a long time, others recently met. Friends, yoga teachers, students, clients and all the therapists and bodyworkers I saw – I salute you. I feel like I could write a manual on Piriformis Syndrome induced sciatica at this point, but I’d rather not.
Suffice it to say that there is nothing like a health crisis to show you who your friends are, and thank you to everyone who took care of me during those long months. I will never forget all that you did.
I’ve resumed my private client business, which is thriving at the moment, and have a couple more slots available.
As always, I travel to your home or office, and design a personalized program of wellness that encompasses your mind, body and spirit.
I wish all my readers well and am grateful to be on these pages again.
Stay Tuned
