Going to grocery stores in Los Angeles right now can be frustrating.

I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to select produce, especially fruit, without smelling it.

Call me a primate.

And I can’t smell what I’m purchasing with a mask on.

Therefore I’m so excited to have discovered this CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) – Good Life Organics.

I have the sincere sense this is a heart centered business and these are the businesses I support.

I used CSAs on the east coast, where the growing season is so much shorter, but somehow once in CA, with the abundance of beautiful produce in stores and farmers markets, I forgot about them.

Let me introduce you to this wonderful company.

Run by a local husband and wife team, Good Life Organics serves up organic fruits and vegetables to your doorstep (or a drop off location), every week of the year!

You can purchase a whole box, or a half box, and choose from all fruit, or fruit and vegetable.

I had a couple of questions and Arica helped me swiftly via email. There is no contract, membership or other gimmick!

What I like most about the company, aside from the superior product, is the streamlined customer service experience.

It seems nearly everyone I know who has tried a produce delivery service has their first order messed up, which de-incentivizes them to be a customer for life.

Good Life Organics has this onboarding process dialed in.

You order, add on extra things if you like, and get your box delivered.

You receive an email the day your box is delivered that outlines exact types of produce included, their origin, and recipes to give you an idea how to cook something new. Their website also has a ton of accessible recipes and meal ideas.

Last week I cooked shishito peppers for the first time!

Here’s an example of a recent 1/2 fruit & veggie box ($28.50)
