T Spine stands for Thoracic spine and this is one of my favorite parts of the body to mobilize for immediate relief.
This practice is for anyone who feels tension in their upper back and shoulders.
This practice is also for anyone who has kyphosis (rounding of the upper back) due to genetic predisposition, poor posture, wearing of high heels for long hours, etc.
You will need a foam roller and a block.
There are lots of different foam rollers on the market. This one is soft and yet firm. The lightweight black ones at many physical therapist’s offices can be too firm, and the soft white ones too squishy. This OPTP roller splits the difference – I’ve had mine for 10+ years.
